Asia-Pacific Names Top Service Performers By demonstrating consistently high levels of achievement in every category of measurement, S&T Contemp Co. Ltd. of Bangkok, Thailand, achieved the 2014 Top Performer Award during the recent Asia regional service providers meeting. It was S&T Contemp's second such award, having also achieved Top Performer in 2002. Representatives from Carrier Transicold and its regional service centers assembled at the Asia regional service providers meeting. Chiou Fun Sin, president, Global Container Refrigeration, Carrier Transicold (left), presents the 2014 Top Performer Award for the Asia region to Wiboonkiet Moleeratanond, managing director of S&T Contemp Co. Ltd. "The key to S&T Contemp's repeated success is embracing a mindset of continuous improvement, focusing on how best to improve service offerings, inventory, technical knowledge and internal processes to not merely meet, but exceed customer expectations," said Hai Kuan Lee, regional service manager, Asia- Pacific Operations, Carrier Transicold. "The company has also been proactively and aggressively committed to developing its business toward a more professional and safe environment," Lee said. "S&T Contemp fully supported and adopted the CareMAX™ (Carrier Refrigerant Management Excellence) framework to help implement consistent procedures to protect the safety and well-being of employees who handle refrigerant and perform maintenance, repair and inspection of refrigerated containers. Also recognized at the regional service providers meeting were: Tianjin Yuanchang Reefer Container Service Co. Ltd. of Tianjin, China, and Eastern (1961) Pte. Ltd. of Singapore, both for customer satisfaction; Sinotrans Xiamen Greating- Fortune Refrigeration Engineering Co. Ltd. of Xiamen, China, and Qingdao Xin Sanly Reefer Container Technical Co. Ltd. of Qingdao, China, both for Employee Development; and Ho Chang Machinery & Electricity Co., of Kaohsiung, Taiwan, for service programs support. Other accolades were received by IRS Eastern Inc. of Davao, Philippines, and Reefertec Pte. Ltd. of Singapore for replacement components. Reefco Container Services of Cochin, India, achieved special recognition as "Most Improved Service Center." The Top Performance Program helps service centers uphold high standards and continuously improve in terms of customer satisfaction, employee development, market knowledge, business planning and replacement components. Representatives from nearly every service center in the Asia region attended the conference, which was held in September in Xiamen, China.
