Available • • a flash tank that manages the flow and phase change of the refrigerant after leaving the gas cooler; two-speed fans that offer greater versatility and energy- saving performance. The NaturaLINE unit uses environmentally sustainable zeroGWP polyurethane insulating foam. For long-life and corrosion resistance, the gas cooler takes advantage of Carrier's patented e-coat technology, and the compressor, flash tank, and filter drier have aluminized coatings. Like other units in the Carrier Transicold container refrigeration family, the NaturaLINE unit features the MicroLink® 3 controller with backlit LCD display and DataCorder™ electronic data recorder. The NaturaLINE unit has been validated by UL Environment as having a 95 percent recyclability rate, joining Carrier's PrimeLINE unit as the only container refrigeration units to achieve recyclability validation. New Coil Expands Select Line™ Parts Operating managers scanning the horizons for ways to hold the line on maintenance and repair costs often set their sights on Select Line™ parts from Carrier Transicold's Performance Parts Group. Select Line parts include major components, such as coils, electronics and remanufactured compressors, as well as other routinely needed parts, such as power plugs, filter driers, sensors and more. Value-priced, they are designed to maintain the performance of older equipment, and carry limited warranties honored by the nearly 430 Carrierauthorized service centers around the world. This season's lineup adds a Select Line condenser coil for ThinLINE® container units made over the last decade (PID numbers NT0500 and higher only, starting around the year 2000). These ThinLINE models incorporated the 3-row, 7 mm copper tube and aluminum fin coil design. As with the original coils, the new Select Line replacement coil features Carrier's patented electro-coating (e-coat) technology, which provides extra durability and corrosion resistance. "Original coils for this generation of ThinLINE units were designed for long life," said Terry Sau, Performance Parts Group's general manager for Asia-Pacific Operations. "Still, today's customers are using equipment even longer than ever as a way of reducing capital expenditures." The new Select Line coil provides exceptional value, especially compared to rebuilt and unpredictable aftermarket replacements that lack Carrier Transicold's global warranty support. The coil is designed and made by Carrier Transicold for easy installation and to perform according to original equipment specifications. Soon to be joined by new Select Line replacement coils for PrimeLINE® and EliteLINE® units, the new ThinLINE coil adds to the steadily evolving line of Select Line parts that provide shipping lines with the dual advantage of competitive pricing and higher quality than traditional aftermarket replacement parts. "Select Line parts provide a no-compromise alternative to locally produced reconditioned refrigeration system components," said Sau, adding, "Let Carrier's global network support your global operations." 9
