Carrier introduces EverFresh®, the first totally integrated controlled atmosphere system for reefer applications. In just 4 years, Carrier doubles historical production as it builds its 200,000 container unit. 1982 Carrier's ThinLINE® NT unit launches. Refined over the years, the ThinLINE becomes the industry standard for quality, reliability and performance. 1993 25 years after introducing the "picture frame" unit, Carrier builds 100,000th unit.
