Our Family of Controlled-Atmosphere Systems cont'd The EverFRESH system generates nitrogen to quickly displace O2, rather than relying on respiration alone to gradually reduce O2 levels, as is the process with modified controlled-atmosphere technologies. The active technology maintains a positive air pressure within the container, making it far less sensitive to box leakage than other types of systems. Another benefit of the new-generation system is affordability. Reduced Complexity In part because it takes advantage of Carrier Transicold's new Micro-Link ® 5 controller, the new EverFRESH system is also less complex than its predecessor. It also has a more streamlined design compared to competitive active controlled-atmosphere systems, making it easier to service. The EverFRESH system has pre-trip inspection routines that test the membrane and compressor to make sure they are functioning normally prior to use. The new EverFRESH system is available for Carrier Transicold PrimeLINE ® refrigeration systems equipped with the Micro-Link 5 controller option. Customer Success One of the first successful trials of the new EverFRESH system was recently completed with one of our major customers, Chiquita, a large banana grower, and has proven its effectiveness with clear success.
