Printed on recycled paper. © 2019 Carrier Corporation With more service technicians relying on TechLINE ® Academy's online curriculum to improve their understanding of refrigeration unit operation, Carrier Transicold continues to expand this suite of instructional programs. The latest module is an elective focused on the Micro-Link ® controller. "This program will be especially helpful for technicians, because the Micro-Link ® 3 controller is used on the vast majority of Carrier Transicold units – regardless of model – in the global fleet," said Thomas Graf, global training manager, Container Service, Carrier Transicold. In addition to explaining how the controller uses inputs, outputs and software to operate the refrigeration unit, the course explains interface options – how the technician transfers information to and from the controller using PCMCIA cards or a USB device and adapter. The courses available from TechLINE Academy provide a comprehensive approach to achieve high standards of excellence, enabling technicians to earn three levels of training certification: Associate, Technician and Master Technician. Online courses are conveniently available every day at any time. Carrier Transicold's hands-on instructor-led classes provide valuable interactive engagement and hands-on troubleshooting skills taught in key port cities around the world. The remainder of instructor-led courses for 2019 are listed here, along with online course modules. To register for programs, visit www.carrier.com/ techline-academy. TechLINE Academy now includes an online course module focused exclusively on the Micro-Link controller. Carrier Transicold Container Refrigeration @SmartColdChain
