Carrier Transicold is a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp., a leading provider to the aerospace and building systems industries worldwide. Printed on recycled paper. © 2018 Carrier Corporation Carrier Transicold continues to build the TechLINE ® Academy program to help our growing base of service technicians stay current with technology, expand their knowledge and enhance their container refrigeration troubleshooting and repair skills. TechLINE Academy does this through online courses that provide ready access to refrigeration unit fundamentals year-round, and through focused instructor-led programs with hands-on training elements. The latter are offered on a rotating basis every year in key port cities around the world. As shown at right, beginning in February, instructor-led courses are scheduled in North America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia, with more programs to come. New for 2019, TechLINE Academy now includes an online training program for the XtendFRESH™ system, a refrigeration system option that continues to grow in popularity and application. Also new for 2019, Chinese language versions of online courses are now available. "We continue to develop TechLINE Academy to give a greater number of service center and customer technicians a more complete understanding of our systems," said Thomas Graf, training manager, Carrier Transicold. "Offering courses in more languages is vital to reaching the global team of Carrier Transicold refrigeration service experts."
